Apple iOS7 is finally here!

As I have watched Apple's launch of its iOS7 via liveblog courtesy of Endgadget, I was able to smile. Finally, Apple has the sense now to catch up on Android. As the saying goes... "better late than never", right?

Click on this link to Apple's website to view the complete specs of iOS7
or watch the official Apple iOS7 commercial here.

Before Apple's iOS7 launch, I am already using these features on my Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGS4):

Multitasking
I can open 2 apps at the same time or switch to another app if I'm done using the pop-up icons on the left side of the screen below such as facebook, gmail, google chrome, youtube and whatever app that you can place on the side bar:

I am also able to use SGS4's control panel and notification center all in just one swipe of my finger:

If there are any new notifications when the phone is locked, it appears this way and I can easily access the said notification:

Another bonus in my SGS4 is that I don't have to download a lot of camera apps - majority of these apps are rolled into one and integrated into the camera that came with my phone unit!
Isn't that great!?

There are lots of features including all the sensors that Samsung engineers have packed into my phone but the best part is its BATTERY:
it has bloody POWER SAVING mode!!
and the best part is, in case my battery dies, I can just easily remove the original battery and place in another one. But as of now, 1 battery on full charge can last the WHOLE FREAKING DAY for me and that includes my data/3G/wifi connections are all ON, GPS, games and other apps in the background are running too, including S-voice, and more importantly, I can still make outgoing calls and SMS as well as receive incoming calls and SMS. At the end of the day, my battery still packs some juice at 20% - that's already around 8PM & I had unplugged my phone at around 6AM. For me, this IS truly amazing for a Smart phone.

I have used an Apple iPhone 4s before and yes, I also enjoyed its simplicity and durability. But its battery always dies on me by midday (2-3pm to be exact) despite closing all apps running in the background, switching from data/3G to 2G and all. So... with that said, I just sold my iphone and got myself an android SGS4 which is an utter delight to own. It truly is a life companion.

I have found another person's thoughts on Apple and Android phones.
Here's the link.

Enjoy folks!

Awakening

Here I was lying down in my bed. Sleep eludes me.
I can't stop thinking.
Of him. His kiss. His tender and warm embrace.
His smile.
